Do you deliver?
Pizza was fine, hearing about my daughter 's college adventures priceless!
I ordered alfredo pasta,it taste good but I would say that the dish' size was small comparing to the price.
MoreWhat a place! Open when the bars close. Best place to eat when you are drunk and ready to pass out. The quantity is big enough to feed your drunken appetite
MoreRude service, gross food, and the place is filthy. Would not go here again
The love I have for this place...
Really good food. Friendly manager, great prices.
Rude people ever π€§
Good East coast style cheap π
Its Ian's but its tastes better. It's only flaw is how far away it is from the rest of campus. Best pizza in Madison in my opinion!
MoreStill good and quick pizza. Ian's has stolen a lot of business, so if you're in the long line there, walk a little bit further down State Street, less options but no lines and good pizza.
MoreI love Pizza Di Roma. Takes me back to being in college and getting myself a slice after bar time or anytime. I still stop by and get my self a veggie slice with a New Castle whenever I'm in town and my kids enjoy their pizza too. Free ice water and great huge slices for a great price.
MoreBig juicy pizza an the best philly cheese steak in townπ―π£π₯
Pizza was not good at all!
No sausage slice, was willing to wait. Server tried to put sausage on an old cheese slice in the display and call it a day. That's not how we wanted to spend our money. We laughed, said no thanks and left. I'll give them another chance, but that was a trashy move.
MoreGreat food all the time !
I am from NY and I have to say this is the closest to real New York pizza I have had anywhere and it's delicious. I highly recommend this pizzeria! The crust is perfect the toppings are generous the sauce is not to thick and not too thin it's just right. This is a place that is not going anywhere! I would say my only disappointment is they changed the bread they use for their hot sandwichs from more of a wide Italian loaf style to a thinner French bread a few years back and they have not been the same.
MoreMy mother and I were there celebrating a high school club victory, she had previously bought me club shirt with her credit card, to congratulate me. I guess it cost more than she expected, so when we felt hungry and stopped in Pizza Di Roma, we were disappointed and embarrassed that her card got declined. We instead only rode one piece for us to share, and waited for the pizza. The owner came out with the two pieces we had originally ordered plus drinks with no charge for the extra slice and drinks. It was heartwarming and generous, and I still think about it. This was two years ago. I look forward to going back every time.
MoreGreat pasta dishes, pizza is just okay. Some outdoor seating, also serves bottles/cans of beer. Stays open till 3a on weekends, perfect for the late night munchies!
MoreAmazing home made pizza
I come here for the pasta they make it like my mom did when I was a little girl
First time here from Chicago, ordered two slices one of spinach and feta it was ok. Second bbq chicken I asked what it was and the worker said bbq chicken so when I take my first bite I taste the pork in it went back up and asked him if it was pork he replied bbq chicken and yes it has pork in it which was a huge disappointment because I donβt eat pork and he couldβve stated that from the get go when asked. But the real bummer is that I explained I donβt eat pork and I discarded the slice and he didnβt even offer to replace it which rubbed me the wrong way. So I basically paid for two slices and just eating one. Wonβt come back here.
MoreLate nights... Great place.
I've been here multiple times, I've not been disappointed yet, it's exceptional for pizza by the slice, and they sell beer. This is honestly one of my favorite places on State Street.
Morelove the new remodeling they've done!
Food seems overpriced and service is decent. Good if you need something quick and not crowded
MorePizza was great! Generous portions and good toppings. Service was a little slow, even though we were only one of three costumers there.
MoreWe just wanted a slice of pizza and so we stopped here. If your hungry and tired of burgers and fries everywhere, stop here and grab a hot slice. It was just a moments wait and super yummy. the people were very nice.
MoreTheir pizza is always amazing! The Vegetarian options are so appealing. They always have a great variety. I've never been disappointed by a trip to pizza Di Roma. I wish they would have eggplant or goat cheese pizza available more frequently though!
MoreMy family tried this place after finding Ian's Pizza closed on Christmas Eve and didn't have a great experience. The interior is pretty plain, with little personality and uncomfortable seating. There was only one table large enough to accommodate our 5 people, so we had no choice but to cram in right next to another full table. There weren't many options for pizza, which was disappointing. I also didn't like that they don't offer fountain soda here. The pizza didn't have a lot of flavor and was just okay. Definitely not worth the price. The atmosphere was not fun and the restaurant was generally unclean. The employee obviously didn't want to be there and wasn't friendly. Further, the one television was tuned to CNN which I don't find really appropriate for restaurant dining. We will not be returning.
MoreCheaper, faster, more fresh and better tasting then Ian's Pizza. Nothing to complain about besides the toll this place will take on my belt line as I embark on the journey of trying everything on the menu.
MoreVery tasty pIzza with crisp crust
Strictly giving this review because one of the "Local Guides" prefers Ians over Pizza Di Roma.... Please stop reviewing if you think Ian's is better than any more authentic options in Madison
MoreThis use to be the best pizza in Downtown Madison. The pizza crust was thick and soft, topping fresh and abundance, and the flavors would pop. I think they have lost it the past few years. I had some the other day and the pizza taste foreign. I would have even though it was PDR if I was not in the restaurant. Now the pizza is average. The toppings were sparse, the crust thin and overcooked... the pizza legit had no flavor. I hope they can find the magic again.
MoreLaid back atmosphere. The spinach and feta pizza is one of my favorite slices in Madison.
MoreI eat here all the time. They have wireless internet and tasty pasta dishes.
Their pizza is passable, but where they really shine is (surprisingly) their subs. Especially the meatball, which is one of the best I've had.
MoreGreat place to get a slice of pizza.
Great pizza by the slice! Also some great healthier options as well
Okay PDR is good. Went here late night to get a slice and it was huge. Itβs cheap and very filling. Iβll come back for sure
MoreVery good pizza. I would highly recomend.
Decent pizza. Great price. Nice cheap lunch.
For college town pizza its okay but there's better eats in the area. Bonus it's open late.
MoreThey are amazing the pizza is amazing and staff too definitely visit if your in the area
MoreGood pizza
Not impressed. About 5 min before the original delivery time, it got pushed back 30 minutes. I don't know if the garlic rolls are supposed to be hard and bland? I guess normally I expect garlic rolls/knots would be doughy and garlic buttery. The mac n cheese pizza has minimal cheese and was warm at best.
MoreAtmosphere β 3.5 StarsOverall Service β 3.5 StarsFood taste β 5 StarsFood presentation β 5 StarsPricing β $$ Reasonably pricedSummary β True New York style thin slice pizza, and the cheese and sauce was out of this world. I am jealous that I do not live closer. When I saw this restaurant across the street from Taiwan little eats, I already ate lunch. Otherwise, I will order a lot more
MoreI was there at the State Streep location on Saturday 12/21/19. I ordered two slices of cheese, the young Hispanic guy at the counter says I just have one! I ask Can you make a new pie? He says no!!! It was 4:00PM, why not make a new pie? I took the one slice, it was burned to a crisp! A few minutes later other customers come in and he said another cheese pie is coming up! This is a good way to lose customers.
MoreBland and soggy calzones.
Awesome Pizza at great prices. The slices are as big as your face and they have many options. I have been coming here for years and the owner Jimmy even works a few hours every day just to make sure it's done right! Great job Pizza Di Roma!!
MorePizza always good and filling.
